The Stroud Red Band
We are an extension of the London Big Red Band, which has been in existence since the 1980s. Like them we play music from the heritage of the labour, socialist and international solidarity movements. We play at demonstrations, marches and benefits when we can.
We try to be as open as possible - no auditions, and no political correctness test. If you like the music and are in sympathy with our aims, we'd love to have you.
This is our Statement of Principles.
Where we are playing
- Sunday 25th January, 2pm, Lansdown Hall. Holocaust Memorial Day
- Monday 26th January, 6pm, Pavillion Hatherley, Cheltenham. Unveiling of the Glos TUC banner
- More 2026 dates will be here very soon...
