The Stroud Red Band
We are an extension of the London Big Red Band, which has been in existence since the 1980s. Like them we play music from the heritage of the labour, socialist and international solidarity movements. We play at demonstrations, marches and benefits when we can.
We try to be as open as possible - no auditions, and no political correctness test. If you like the music and are in sympathy with our aims, we'd love to have you.
This is our Statement of Principles.

- Saturday 28th March, Together Against the Far Right march in London
- Saturday 2nd May, 11am to 1pm, Stroud May Day
- Monday 4th May, May Day march in London
- Saturday 9th May, Gloucester, General Strike Anniversary (to be confirmed)
- Friday 19th June, 3-4pm, Cotswold Care Home
- Sunday 5th July, Canal Festival
